Chicken and dumplings made in a slow cooker.

Ingredients:

For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn) (optional)

For the Dumplings:

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup flour (for coating biscuit dough)
